sculpture at scampston

I have numerous passions – people, photography, travel, sculpture, art… to name a few.  And it is wonderful to do a job that you really enjoy and involves one (or more) of your passions.  So I thoroughly enjoyed being commissioned by sculptor Peter Coates to photograph his work at Scampston Walled Garden near Malton.

Pete’s work is hidden amongst the formal gardens and add’s much more to a visit for garden lovers, and new vistors interested in sculpture.  Any trip to Scampston wouldn’t be complete without lunch in their amazing restaurant, which I felt obliged to do whilst on the shoot – be rude not to!
