I was chatting with an actor recently and he explained that most actors are a bit shy when it comes to being photographed as themselves (as they often prefer to hide behind a character they are playing,) and he felt my relaxed, natural style of portraits would be perfect for them.

A couple of weeks ago I was commissioned to photograph Beth for her actor’s headshots; which was a real pleasure as I have really enjoyed following her acting career so far.

Beth will be playing the part of Mercy Lewis in The Crucible, at The West Yorkshire Playhouse in September, and I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more of her on our screens in the not to distant future.
