four generations and a fish…

I met Anne in Waitrose in York and we got chatting about her children and grandchildren.  Well before you could say ‘do you eat fish?’ I was commissioned to capture them altogether at a family gathering, at her stunning home in The Wolds (and Alan invited me to some superb salmon too!)  They were a wonderful family to photograph and I loved every minute of the natural family portrait process with them (which included being spoilt and fed again when I delivered their framed work.)  I feel very lucky to have bumped into Anne that day, and I really look forward to the opportunity to spend time with her family again soon.
